If you would like your event to be unforgettable, consider renting the Jamestown Memorial Church at Historic JamestowneSM on Jamestown Island, Virginia--America's Birthplace.
 The brick Church, built in 1907, was a gift to the APVA from the National Society of Colonial Dames of America. The stately Church stands behind a brick tower, erected c. 1690, which is
the only surviving seventeenth-century structure at Jamestown. It is also one of the oldest English-built edifices standing in the United States. The interior of the Church contains the brick and cobblestone foundations of the 1639 church. Just yards away, the "noble" James River flows beside the site. The River and the natural setting provide additional beauty and tranquility to the magnificent historic setting, where our most cherished traditions of freedom were planted and took root.
 The APVA is pleased to offer rental of the Memorial Church as a membership service for events consistent with the building's status as a church and a historic structure. (At the APVA's discretion, such uses include--but are not limited to--weddings, christenings, funerals, and ceremonial commemorations. The Church seats 75 and stands another 25.) Once you join the APVA, in addition to your membership fee, there is a rental fee of $800 for a maximum two hours' use of the Church. If you hold your event before or after park hours (9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.), there is an additional charge of $50 for any increment of that time. Wedding rehearsals are included in the rental fee but are subject to the additional after-hours' charge. There is also a $300 security deposit that is refundable, provided the user adheres to the "Regulations Governing Use of the APVA's Jamestown Memorial Church."
